Turtle Trap Warranty

Our Pond King Floating Turtle Trap carries a 5 year warranty on the frame and welds. 

Float Warranty Information

Pond King does not manufacture the floats used on our turtle traps. These floats are manufactured by Attwood Corporation, which provides a limited lifetime warranty against splitting or bursting under normal use.

What Is Covered

• Splitting
• Bursting

What Is Not Covered

• Punctures or damage caused by external forces (including but not limited to beaver damage, gunshot holes, sharp objects, or misuse)

Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:

1. Remove the float(s) from the trap.
2. Ship the float(s) directly to Attwood for inspection.
3. Include complete contact information inside the package (name, return address, phone number, and email).

Attwood will inspect the returned float(s).

• If the float passes inspection, Attwood will replace it under warranty.
• If the float does not qualify under warranty, replacements must be purchased through Pond King, as Attwood does not sell directly to consumers.
