Setup & Troubleshooting Fish Feeders Other Fish Feeders

How do I replace the fish feeder motor?

Pond King |

Tools Needed

  • 5/16 Nut Driver or Wrench
  • 11/32 Wrench
  • 3/32 Allen Wrench
  1. Using a 5/16 wrench or nut driver remove the varmint guard clips and varmint guard
  2. Remove the 2 bolts on the throwplate using the same 5/16 wrench or nut driver (they have Loctite on them, so they might be a little difficult)
  3. Take the battery and timer out of the inner canister
  4. On the underside of the inside canister, loosen and remove the (2) 11/32 nuts.
  5. The motor and rod should now be loose and able to be pulled out of the inner canister
  6. Using a 3/32 Allen wrench, loosen and remove the set screw to remove the rod from the motor
