How do I replace the fish feeder motor?
Tools Needed
- 5/16 Nut Driver or Wrench
- 11/32 Wrench
- 3/32 Allen Wrench
- Using a 5/16 wrench or nut driver remove the varmint guard clips and varmint guard
- Remove the 2 bolts on the throwplate using the same 5/16 wrench or nut driver (they have Loctite on them, so they might be a little difficult)
- Take the battery and timer out of the inner canister
- On the underside of the inside canister, loosen and remove the (2) 11/32 nuts.
- The motor and rod should now be loose and able to be pulled out of the inner canister
- Using a 3/32 Allen wrench, loosen and remove the set screw to remove the rod from the motor
