Solution 1
You might be pushing the test button. The test run time is automatically programmed at 6 seconds. If you set your program time for different times, the only way you’ll know that’s going off correctly and for the right amount of time is to wait until it’s programmed time and it goes off automatically.
Solution 2
The remote is also programmed at a fix run time of around 5 seconds. It will not run for anything more or less. It’s always that same time.
